| RIVA DEL GARDA, ITALY-(8-5-2005) Sunny ending today for all sailors; the Russian crew of Ekaterina Skudina (RUS 7 - score14) wins this international event, in order to enjoy the next Eurolymp, starting tomorrow. Anna Basalkina (RUS 2 - 15) is in second place, and Sally Barkow (USA 337 - 16) gets the bronze medal.
Today the Riva Cup ends too, and in 505 class wins Lehmann (GER 8 - 11) one point to Kellner (GER 8672 - 12); third place for Scutcher (GBR 8787 - 28).
In Dyas class Holger (GER 1432 - 10) gets the gold medal, followed by Andersohn (GER 1320 - 16) and Grotebrune (GER 1416 - 18).
The Korsar podium sees first place for the German Axel Oberemm (GER 3714 - 14), second place for Dunker (Ger 3643 - 21); third Langner (GER 78 - 27).
International 14’ regattas puts Richardson (GBR 1500 - 8 punti) on the highest step of the podium; in second place Lennon’s crew (GBR 1498 - 16). Third Jones (GBR 1497 - 21).
The Fraglia Terrace was for this event’s prize giving, this afternoon, while next week it will see the Expert Olympic Garda – Eurolymp regatta.
